Qimat Alensan (Human`s value)
I wrote and recorded this song in the summer of 2025, under immense psychological pressure. At the time, I was living in Germany, where the political climate toward voices supporting Palestine —or rather, supporting humanity— had become increasingly hostile. This is clearly visible in videos of the Berlin demonstrations: peaceful protesters being beaten and silenced.
This song was born from a deep sense of disappointment. I found myself in a country that claims to defend democracy and human rights, yet denies them in the harshest ways. It is a cry from within —a call to Arabs to break the silence and not allow the crime of the century to be committed against their brothers and sisters.
But this song goes beyond that; it is for humanity. It is an attempt to reclaim the “value of the human being.” In it, I ask: what is the future of humanity when a child is killed before the world’s eyes? I speak about the urgent need to build a new world, one founded on genuine human values.
